about

With over 23 years of experience in architecture, design, theatre, lighting, and woodworking, my past professional accomplishments include residential, educational, religious, entertainment, and mixed-use projects, along with graphic design and urban planning. I'm a latecomer to design, but my life has been spent in peripheral fields so my transition was a comfortable one.  My architectural responsibilities so far include schematic design, design development, construction documentation and client and consultant coordination.

My design philosophy is to underscore the subtext of design within the context of social and environmental sustainability. As a student I participated as Solar Decathlon design team leader for the 2007 University of Maryland LEAFHouse, placing first nationally, and as team mentor for the University of Maryland WaterShed, which placed first internationally in 2011. As an intern, and later architect, I have supported institutional, educational, and residential projects in the United States and abroad. My volunteer time is spent supporting the Abramson Scholarship Foundation.

Specialties: Architectural and Industrial design, Graphic and Web design, Animation, Fabrication (digital and analog), Modeling (digital and analog), Photography.
